After a couple of months of waiting patiently to see if Still Small Entertainment's 'Moonlight in your Blood' would be worthy enough to make it into any film festivals, yesterday I finally got word that it was. Not that I had a lot of doubt really. It's a great piece of work and I'm extremely excited to see how an audience reacts to it. The first (and only so far) festival to accept the new flick is the Nickel Independent Film Festival here in St. John's, Newfoundland. There will be an official press conference next week regarding the scheduling and lineup but, as far as we know now the movie will premiere on July 20th, 2006. The time is unknown.
Things are pretty exciting for me right now as the festival circuit heats up again. It would be great to see this film have some legs. Let's see how it goes!
